Members of Edward Hughes and Elizabeth Grigsby were in Talladega, AL. I have recently corresponded with a descendant of theirs. Their son, Nathaniel Hughes' descendants lived in north AL. Nathaniel Hughes, son of Edward, married a Rebecca ??. They had a daughter named Rhoda Hughes. We already knew that much. She married Starrett Dobbins in Gilford, Caswell County, NC. Rhoda and Starrett named a son Nathaniel Hughes Dobbins and had another son named James B. Dobbins. He married Elizabeth Hughs.
